Travtus + BH: Empowering teams with AI driven exploration

BH Management Services, one of the nation's premier property management platforms in multifamily, student and single-family housing, has built a reputation for using data with purpose. That commitment has guided a clear strategy: reduce gatekeeping, make insights accessible and ensure that information drives meaningful action across the business.
With BH Fusion+®, they built an internal platform that brought together operational, financial and performance data into a single environment, giving teams a shared foundation for visibility and decision-making across the enterprise.
As the business evolved, BH saw an opportunity to go further. The goal was to shorten the distance between questions and answers, and to make it simpler for teams to engage with the information behind their decisions. That vision led to a partnership with Travtus.
Developing an Embedded Capability Together
BH and Travtus partnered closely to design a smarter way to bring intelligence into everyday operations. At the heart of that effort was Explore, the platform's conversational interface that allows users to ask questions, build trends, set alerts and generate reports. Travtus worked with BH to embed Explore directly into BH Fusion, so teams could access its capabilities from within the systems they already use.
Built through simulations and live testing, Explore behaves like a data analyst behind the scenes. It connects information across systems, runs complex queries in real time and surfaces insights that were once buried across hundreds of tables. Responses include written summaries with key data points, along with charts and trend lines that help teams understand results quickly.
“Travtus is an AI vendor with multifamily knowledge and a product that was similar to what we wanted to build. So it really felt like a win-win.”
Putting Insight into the Hands of Every Analyst
BH rolled out Explore across the organization in waves, giving access to its 2,800 employees and turning everyday explorers into analysts. From day one, teams could ask questions in plain language and get answers within seconds, all within the systems they already use.
To support adoption, training was built around how teams actually work. Instead of templates, the project sponsors shared examples based on actual queries and outcomes — helping users quickly understand the kinds of questions they could ask and how the tool fit into their daily routines.

A Model for Empowered Exploration
By making exploration part of daily practice, BH is setting a standard for how the industry will work in the future. The result is a more connected and intelligent operating model that delivers greater speed, clarity and alignment across teams. Travtus is proud to support BH in building a company where insight flows through everyday work and intelligence powers action at every level.
